Call for Paper

The 2nd China-French Symposium on Advanced Materials

The 2nd China-French Symposium on Advanced Materials (CFSAM-2) will be held in Shanghai, China on Oct. 27-30, 2011. The symposium will provide a forum for the researchers from China and French in the broad fields of material science and technology related with dielectric, piezoelectric, electronics, and optics, and their practical applications on energy, environment and healthcare.

The symposium will focus on topics related to the materials science, and applications in single crystal, ceramic, thin film, and composite. Contributed abstracts are solicited that address fundamentals and practical applications of ferroelectrics, new multifunctional phenomena in processing, in-situ monitoring, and integration of single-phase and heterostructure oxides, structure-property-performance relationships, and nanoscale preparation, characterization, and application.

This symposium aims at providing a forum for French and Chinese scientists and engineers from universities, governmental institutions and industry to discuss recent advances and challenges associated with the development of advanced materials for energy, environment and healthcare. The symposium will also offer the opportunity to develop and strengthen the long-term bilateral collaboration between French-Chinese researchers.
